Yes.... I was finally able to take a cruise on the Breakaway! I am a big fan of Norweigan and their free style cruising, it really is the best way to vacation. Hey when I am on vacation and I don't want to have to think about too many plans or sticking to a schedule. This was my fourth cruise on NCL and it won't be my last.

The ship is really nice and it's huge compared to the GEM. Loved all the available activities. There really isn't anything to complain about. I was a bit nervous at first that it would take forever to get anywhere on this boat seeing as it was so much larger than any other ship I previoulsy traveled on.

Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. It's great that you can now choose the time you arrive to check in. Our room steward, Gerard, was great. He was always friendly, eager to help and very kind. We ate at both the "free" restaurants as well as the "special" restaurants. The food was really good no matter where you ate. So if you are traveling and don't feel like spending extra on the special resturants you will still be happy. If you are a soda drinker, and are too lazy to carry on cans of soda like me, I suggest getting the soda package. It's enough of a hassle dragging suitcases and I don't care to add to that mess by bringing on cases of soda.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Inside Stateroom

This is the very first time I traveled in an inside cabin. I have to say it wasn't bad at all. The room was spacious enough for the three of us. Lots of little nooks to store stuff.
