If total chaos at embarkation and waiting endlessly for drinks is your idea of fun, then this is the cruise for you. Embarkation was like Ellis Island circa 1895. Once on board, there was no one to give directions and people were completely confused.
We had to miss one of the ports (Stirrup Cay) because of a storm and so we had an extra day at sea. Ho hum. The problem was that we were traveling in February so 5000 people were confined to the decks inside the boat with little to do since there was no swimming, water slides, rock climbing, etc. I don't recommend traveling in the dead of winter since you will be very limited with what you can do on the first and last two days of the trip. Cocoa Beach is a...dump. Not worth stopping at all. I get that people went to Disney etc. but it would have been a lot nicer to skip it and go to the other Bahamas port that we missed. Nassau was nice but the time there was entirely too limited.
The food was generally above average and it was a lot better to eat in some of the smaller restaurants, especially for dinner. By the end of the cruise, they ran out of some important things like milk for example...not good.
Embarkation was AWFUL
What a dump
The zoo is perfect for little kids! Highlight of the trip
