My husband and I took this cruise because we have never taken one before. We both visit Disney World once or twice a year so what better way to try out a cruise than to go with our favorite vacation company? Wrong.
First, we decided to stay in All Star Sports Resort the night before and the night after the cruise, so we didn't have to worry about flights causing problems. (which that part was a good idea, had a major delay with the flight down there) The Cruise Line Magical Express ride to Port Canaveral was fine, just like a normal ride from the airport. After we got there, the lines were long, but moved fairly quickly and before we knew it we were on the ship and in our room. The room was nice #9666. Had a veranda. We really didn't like being at the back of the ship though. We learned that at ever port, we got bounced out of bed by the vibration of the ship pulling into port.
We had major expectations for great food on this ship because that's the best part of going to WDW. We were very disappointed. I guess the food is more appealing for children. Food at the buffet was cafeteria quality and is only open during weird times. A buffet like this should always be open. The portions of food at the main dining areas is so small you have to order more than one thing to feel like you have eaten. And the options are terrible. There isn't much for adults to do on this ship that don't require you spending more money.
The room was nice. Clean. Storage every where.
We went down to the beach and the wind was so fast and cool that it was very unpleasant. We had lunch that was provided and went back to the ship.
