First off you should know that I went into this cruise skeptical and a bit scared because I hate large groups. I realized this was a big ship..but a cruise is a cruise!
We sailed out of NY which is a bit of a pain, but we were able to find a parking situation that worked. Instead of paying almost 240$ for parking at the pier, we used a service called Valet Anywhere that picks up your car and drops it off for you. They park in nearby covered lots, and secure it for you. Cost $140. All payments including tip are processed via their app which was nice.
Embarkation was bit slow, but expected for a ship that large moving that many people. I would consider it well organized.
Our Cabin was an aft balcony 12306, which we found out was one of the largest non-suite/non-haven balconies. Standard room, nothing special. Flat screen tv, couch decent amount of table space. They included a coffee maker and hair dryer. The minibar was locked, but we did not need it so no big deal there. The bed was very comfortable! We were worried about SpiceH20, but with the door closed you could not hear it at all. Our room steward was amazing, practically a ninja. I rarely saw her throughout the week, but our room was always need and clean. When I did meet her, she was very nice. We left an extra tip.
Their moving 5000+ people on and off the ship. For what they have to deo..its not that bad over all.
Private walking tour including food and rum. Very good.
