We are seasoned travelers and enjoyed our stay on Sapphire in Asia from Singapore back to Singapore 24 Feb to 7 March. Cabin steward was great and cleanliness great also throughout the chip. Meals were good not great but service at meals were usually great and special requests were usually satisfied.

Entertainment was good but the lateness at 8:15 and 10:15 was too late for us especially if you missed the first performance. If you had early tour in the morning late was hard.

Took all our tours privately and with other Cruise Critic offerings. Found them much cheaper and usually longer and more inclusive to many more places. Certainly less people and more convenient for my wife that moves slowly. Also private allows more for tailored viewing of specific sites of interest. There were excellent destination briefings by Princess but their educational briefings were lacking in depth and variety. Missed other activities available on other cruises like bridge lessons, art instruction, computer classes, and other varied activities. Princess' offerings of trivia and wine tasting were ok but not to higher standards and variety of other cruises. Also get tired of constant photoes and selling of pictures. But you can ignore if not interested Art auctions do not appeal to us.

Cabin Review

Interior

Inside room for first time. It was fine for our needs. Spent more time outside cabin or watching movies on tv. Tv was intermittent until got steward to change batteries in remote. Then worked great.
