Whoever booked the air arrangements has obviously not flown recently. There was not enough time between the flights - we had to run to catch our second flight (both coming and going) and our baggage did not make it onto our second leg going to San Juan. We had to wait at San Juan airport to ensure the receipt of our bags. Waiting for our bags cost us 1.5 hours of lost ship time.

We were very pleased with our stateroom - it was beautifully appointed and our stateroom attendant, Ito, was very helpful with towels, turning down the bed, and general tidying. BUT - where were the chocolates??? Talking to other people on a Celebrity Cruise and on a Carnival Cruise, I was dismayed to learn that our cruise ship was the only one not offering chocolates at night. Considering this is part of RCI's marketing (they state that our attendant will know if we want one or two chocolates on our pillow), it was disappointing to not receive any.

I was charged different prices for the same drink at different bars - some bartenders would give me the "drink of the day" rate for my frozen margarita, whilst others insisted that it was not the "drink of the day" and would charge me the full rate. I purchased the soda package on the first day at sea - some bartenders would fulfill my request of club soda with a splash of cranberry, while others would tell me that juices were not included in the package. I was not asking for a glass of juice, only a splash and the juice was coming from the same fountain hose as the club soda. One bartender at the Sky Bar was not very pleasant, rarely smiled and was quite surly at times. However, another bartender at the Schooner Bar was a joy - he seemed to love his job and took the time to prepare mixed drinks with precision and flair.
