Cabin: The Haven Courtyard Penthouse with Balcony

My 3rd time on the Breakaway and perhaps my best yet because the service was so exemplary. 4 days of cold windy weather with 3 beautiful days in FL & Bahamas - so it definitely was NOT the weather that earned the 5 stars.

I was in The Haven, so of course that was nice - but even in the Garden café (buffet) the service was MUCH more attentive than I recall in the past. Dishes were cleared immediately and crews worked tirelessly to clean tables and stay on top of things. Service in the specialty restaurants as well as the main dining rooms were superb, except 1 night in La Cucina where it was a little slow but otherwise very nice.

The spa is worth it only if it's included in your cabin class would NEVER pay $199 pp a-la-carte. VERY relaxing, love the warm rock lounges, wave pool and over sized hot tub...but once or twice a week is all I use it; especially in warm weather or when in The Haven where there's 2 nice hot tubs and a sauna.

Cabin Review

The Haven Courtyard Penthouse with Balcony

Cabin H5

So much storage room, roomy overall, but bathrooms are nice in the mini-suites! Larger balcony was nice - but other cruise lines have this size in normal cabins. Love everything about the privacy and exclusivity of The Haven - but best perks are: 1st on and off ship and ease of getting reservations.

Port Reviews

Great Stirrup Cay

Nice BBQ lunch and plenty of chairs.

New York (Manhattan)

It was easy to park at terminal ($280 / wk) and board.
