Caribe Level 10, cabin C404. This is an inside cabin which only has an adjoining room on one side. It is close to the laundry and elevators yet a quiet location. The room was very clean but as expected not very big. Your only place to sit was either the bed or one chair at the vanity. It really wasn't a problem since whenever we were awake we were out of the room. The bed and bedding was comfortable and the room does have a refrigerator which is great for keeping ice and water chilled. We did arrange to have coffee delivered every morning along with some pastries so we didn't have to hurry out for breakfast.

This was our first time on a Princess Cruise and we had a wonderful time. Getting on and off the ship was a breeze. We really enjoyed reading the Princess Patter (newsletter) every night to plan out the next day's onboard activities. There were tons of things to do everyday and we certainly enjoyed the shows in the theater, but one of our favorites was watching Karoke.....it's always a blast.

The Crown Princess definitely needs to upgrade the quality of the food in the buffet. It's hard to put together a decent meal in there. The buffet is a time and convenience choice of eateries on the ship and is a busy, busy place. I would think Princess would be concerned about reviews and ratings and make a huge effort to serve good tasting and appetizing meals.

Port Reviews

Los Angeles

The town of San Pedro is not the nicest port.

Puerto Vallarta

Very nice looking port

Mazatlan

We just got off the ship and there is a great area where you can buy all of your Mexican tourist trinkets, pharmacies, food etc... You don't need to go into town for that.

Cabo San Lucas

Pretty place, but turn around way to short for any lengthy excursion.
