The Oasis cruise from Feb 27th thru March 5th was very good but could have been much better. Royal Caribbean’s “WOW” factor just wasn’t there. This was our third (3) cruise with Royal Caribbean and it was the worst. Elevator call buttons were not working properly all week (they wouldn’t stay lit). There is a Starbucks on the ship but it’s an additional cost, not included in any drink package. Ice tea can only be found in two areas, Windjammers and Sorrento’s Pizza.

There were problems with dining at the upscale restaurants as they were closed for “Private Events”. Some just had Royal Caribbean staff sitting in the room for the evening. Also the Oasis of Dreams show we had scheduled for the 27th was moved to the 28th due to a private event.

We weren’t impressed with our Dining Room Seating on the Oasis vs. the Freedom & Jewel. We were stuck in the back of the room against a partition wall. There wasn’t any entertainment at dinner as on other ships. No Baked Alaska parade, dancing waiters or fun music.
