Sail Date: Feb 2016

I went on the Jade in Feb to participate in a slots tournament. Houston was a very easy place to embark on the ship. Within 15 minutes of getting off the bus from the airport I was onboard the ship.

The Jade is not the newest NCL ship but it was well maintained and clean. The staff was mostly good, except for one trivia host whose English was not understandable. The magician Christo and Renaldi was very good. One stage show the elements which featured the magician, Dancers and the Acrobats was very good.

The food was OK I generally ate in the casual dining room and the food was good, but not great. One evening I ate at the Brazilian steakhouse, I had a late reservation and all the meat on sticks which came out was more on the done than rare side and I generally like my meat rare.
