RC Anthem Of The Seas – 8 Day Voyage - Port Canaveral FL & Bahamas

My husband and I are big time cruisers, this was our 25th! We’ve never come back from a cruise and felt so disappointed.

Part of the reason for our disappointment is we felt the ship was poorly designed to fit 4500 passengers, which resulted in tons of lines and things being booked. Also, for a ship that prides itself on technology, their app was not always up to par, sometimes you couldn’t make a reservation for something, like the North Star and not all excursions were on the app like the Blue Lagoon Dolphin Observer. Also, not all the IPads were working, such as the ones in the Photo Gallery, which wouldn’t scan my card. We felt that this technology, although at times very convenient, resulted in a less-personable experience. If you have a question or wanted to know more about an excursion, the excursion desk personnel would tell you to look to the IPads in the excursion desk or just go on the IPhone app for more information. But, not everything is on there.

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Very convenient, since we live in NJ. You no longer have to take a shuttle to get on the ship. However, with that new set up of the terminal, the car lines were much longer this time around.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

We had a blast in this port. We rented a mustang convertible and drove up to see the Mets spring training in Port St Lucie.

Nassau

I always swim with the dolphins, wherever we go in the Caribbean. We enjoyed the boat ride over to the lagoon and I had a great time with the dolphins. The foot push was definitely the highlight.
