This was the maiden transatlantic voyage of the new Britannia, a new ship and only our second ever cruise. we had been really looking forward to it and in many ways we were not at all disappointed.

1 The ship is large, clean and bright, the facilities are extensive and many of the features and facilities are great.

2 We really enjoyed the food ( where we always dined in the restaurant in freedom dining where you could choose your times), sometimes had lunch in the glasshouse (for which there is a supplement) and also dined in the supplement restaurants in the evenings. The staff were excellent as was the service.

Cabin Review

Cabin Outside balcony

The bedroom was quite compact but completely satisfactory, as was the balcony. The bed was good as were the furnishings. However, the bathroom, which has a shower, WC and sink is very tight, basically a pod in the corner of the room. The hanging and drawers were quite satisfactory but so close to the outward opening bathroom door that if someone was there when the door was opened, it would hit them.
