First day embarkation horrible. Stood in line way to long. Contact Carnival on how to do this. Food first day I will say was good,but after that downhill. Food was cold,eggs were cold grits were cold hamburgers raw. Thursday I ate a salad and few hours later I was in the bathroom. I had food poisioning , and missed my shore excursion because of being sick. Shore excursion manager, you see he gave me no respect so he gets none in return. How he is in this position I have no idea. Told us if we had a problem go to the dock and talk to the people. I booked my excursions with NCL. Stupid me for thinking NCL would help. We were lied to about an excursion. We were not the only people having issues.
There were some highlights Lawson was a waiter excellent, and our steward Alvin was fantastic , an Asian lady in the Pearly Kings was excellent also. That's it that's it no one else. I won this cruise from the Hard Rock Casino. I upgraded to a suite,I wasted my money. People beware, especially booking shore excursions with NCL. My husband booked a shore excursion on board with his sail card. We do not use the same charge card,yet I was billed for an excursion. We asked for our gratuities back,as we tipped who we felt needed tipping. We were told we need to ask NCL for our money back,may take up to two weeks.
