This was our first Princess cruise and was booked based on price alone). We kept our expectations low based on other reviews and decided we would make the best of whatever came our way. However, our expectations were exceeded in most areas. Our biggest concerns after reading reviews were the food and the entertainment. Our any-time dining room experience was very acceptable!! The ice cream and pizza available at the pools was awesome. The grill at the pool had great burgers and french fries--except the buns were stone cold. The buffet at breakfast and lunch was a huge disappointment. Small with no variety. Strange set up compared to others we have experienced.

We loved the entertainment at the Princess Theater. The only show we were disappointed in was the 'magic' show (word on the ship was the magic show was the one show you needed to go to). The illusionist, in our opinion, would be better suited doing birthday parties--not cruise ship shows--we were quite surprised (and he was involved in 2 shows). Other entertainment around the ship was quite good as well.

We knew the ship had been refurbished recently so were surprised at the outdated room furnishings and accessories. Bed was comfy. Plenty of storage. Blow dryer old and wimpy. Only 2 plugs in room--none near the bed to plug in phone and use the clock and alarm. You can connect to Princess Wireless and have access to a variety of things like their messenger service to stay in touch with members of your party on the ship or look up your account, or see the daily schedule, so it was necessary to charge your phone while you slept. Smaller bathroom/shower than we have been used to. You can sit on the toilet and use the sink at the same time!! If you depend on a great hair conditioner, bring your own. The one they provide is an 'all in one' shampoo/conditioner. Bathrobes need to be requested, so request them as soon as you see your room steward the first day so you have something to put on when room service comes!! Pool towels are often not available at times during the day. They suggest you bring your towels back to your room with you, and the room steward will replace them with fresh ones each evening. We found this to be inconvenient at best, and the towels are not the greatest.

not refurbished like we thought they would have been--only 2 plugs with none by the bed so cannot use your phone as a clock or alarm if it needs to be charged. Bathrooms very very small. Comfy bed.

Little French Key found through Trip Advisor. The ship's arrival time of 10 am didn't allow us quite enough time to get our money's worth. We did not arrive at Little French Key until after 11:30 and had to leave by 3:15 to make it back to the ship with time to spare.
