Now we just got home. And we also were on the first sailing after a complete scrub down since a noro virus out break. 177 cases to CDC. Notified prior by Oceania that our boarding would be at 2 pm instead of 1pm due to the scrub down. Now we got to the port and the line snaked down the concrete in front of the building and Oceania was giving no assistance to many of the passengers and many who of needed the assistance. Hot sun and 82 degrees. The crew at that point were rude and mass confusion every where.

Was told we would be able to be in our room by 4 pm and went to the elevator and to our floor to find it full of people who of need of assistance. The officer on our floor was rude to the lady trying to get a chair for her husband whom was elderly. Finally after in the hall for an hour were able to get into our rooms and immediately were sent to the mustard drill. Stopped at the reservation desk and they were rude. Finally got to dinner and settled into our room. Next morning everyone was having problems with the internet and people were lined up outside the Oceania internet room. Took me 53 minutes the last day to get onto AA.com and print boarding passes. Service keep dropping.

The next point that should be made is we did 3 Oceania tours since my husband had had knee replacement surgery was limited on walking. Got down off the ship for a tour and had checked prior to make sure there would be transportation to the tour bus but none was there. And the distance was like over 100 yards long. Complained to the tour desk when return and they said Oh Sorry. No help at all. Till we were lifted from CDC the smell and the walls were dripping with a clear watery solution. Plastic wrap over all the food in the Terrace dinning. After day 3 the ban was lifted. We were luck at disembarkation as we were to get off before the mob of people and unorganized parting. For the money I probably will look else where for our next cruise. We stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel prior and would recommend it highly.

Cabin Review

Verandah Stateroom

Cabin B1

It was 282 sq ft. which is not hugh but had a balcony. The mattress was good.

Port Reviews

Nassau

This enjoyed and thought out tour bus had a great driver and was very good with the people on this tour. Good information.

St. Lucia

The age of the bus was showing ware. But the guide and driver were great.

St. Maarten

Booked though the ship was fine but there was no transfer from getting off the ship to the tour busses. It was a long distance and my husband with knee replacement was about impossible to do.

Antigua

This was a stop the you could get off the ship and walk to the dock area and around with a short distance. Not much to see other than the dock area.

St. Barts

This is a tender stop and the waters were a little rocky but went in to town and walked around.

San Juan

We visited a long time friend and spent the afternoon enjoying a friend of long ago.

Miami

We had a lovely 2 day pre cruise stay and was able to relax and enjoy. On our own.
