Living in the Mid East Coast USA, a Caribbean cruise always beats snowy February. NCL's "Free-Style Cruising" is the best way to go if you like a casual vacation-having to pack evening dresses and suits is not our idea of relaxing. During the 2 weeks we were aboard we had some rough sea and missed the Cayman Islands but overall had a grand time. Enjoyed the "game shows" "Not so Newly Wed," "55 or Less," and karaoke contest-things we would never do/watch at home, but we were on vacation. We flew into Orlando and used the greatest little service called "Go Port Canaveral." They provided transportation from the airport to hotel, hotel to pier and pier to airport. They make all the necessary arrangements including hotel reservations for a very reasonable fee.

Embarkation was easily accomplished as was disembarkation. As gold Latitudes members we had priority times for both.

We were in a forward porthole cabin which gave us a little more room than an inside cabin but was still economical. We have found the porthole or obstructed view cabins to be a good choice both monetarily and for added space.
