We just got back from our 3rd Celebrity cruise, 5th overall. We love celebrity. Our other 2 cruises with them were Solstice in Alaska 2013 and Silhouette in Eastern Carib 2014. I will start with a complaint. The Beds! NOT Comfortable. The rounded bottom might look good but give you little foot room if you are taller. Not to mention the hard mattress. No veranda light on the reflection. Didn't the other 2 boats have them??? Also, no switch to put on the exhaust fan in the bathroom.
I was disappointed that the healthy food selection aka "SP" logo was gone from the MDR menus. The Appetizer & salad sections are now merged on the menu. On both my other cruises with Celebrity we had Pattie (don't remember her last name) from Chicago as the CD. She would keep you well informed of all happenings on the ship. This time we had Alexander. This was his last cruise. IMVHO, he just "phoned it in" on this cruise.
The shows in the main theater seem to be shorter this time. The first night comedian wasn't too good. We left after 10 minutes, the first time we ever walked out. The cast shows were good. Lovena B. Fox was top notch. The last night's comedian was better than the first. I give him a "B+". The house band had the foyer rocking. Not that I took part in the classes, but the Zumba classes on the Silhouette were poolside in the mornings and were very well attended. This cruise had them in the late afternoon which I didn't see. I think they were in the fitness area.
this was our first time leaving from Miami.
dockside tourist trap shopping area had the usual countless jewery & tee shirt stores.
