I have cruised before on another cruise lines smaller ships and was disappointed with the ship. With Norwegian I have sailed on the Breakaway and Getaway and loved them so I decide to try a smaller ship and take the western Caribbean trip on the Norwegian Star.

Although we has some rough weather (not the cruise lines fault) we had a great time. There was a good show every night of the trip. With the bad weather I was worried that I would be bored during the day as I don't gamble.

I was surprised during the day they had plenty of activities planned inside to keep you busy. I'm a diver and we were able to dive 3 of the 4 ports the dive companies they used were great to dive with. Read more
