I read reviews about this ship but thought it'd be fine. Well, we got to our cabin & it wasn't fine. There was a bad smell, the beds were worn as was the bedding. One bedskirt had what looked like water stains up the side. The other one was torn & the metal was sticking out. The 2 chairs were stained & old. The bathroom sink had seen better days, shower hooks were rusty. By the time we got someone to come to our cabin the smell had more or less dissipated. Even after the room steward had shampooed the chairs they still looked awful. The room was very dingy. Worst we've experienced after using 3 other cruise lines.

Food in the dining room was fine, sometimes very good, sometimes odd, like a kind of milky corn sauce with cod or a barbecue sauce over veggies & snapper fish. We had good service there. In the buffet we were offered more morning coffee twice in 14 days but almost everyday we were offered bottles of water or juice which you could buy or dinner at a specialty restaurant! The buffet was fine for breakfast & lunch. There were no other areas where you could get food or a snack without paying except the main dining room & the buffet.

Customer service was very nice when I went to complain about the room & we were given a discount after an excursion which was quite unsatisfactory. Public spaces on this ship aren't that great for sea days nor are there enough chairs by the pool.
