Sail Date: Feb 2016

This was my second cruise, my first being the Carnival Fascination in Feb 2014.

Embarkation was easy and quick. Finding our stateroom was not difficult and the room was attractively furnished with a large porthole window (3124). Our attendant was very nice and, in fact, almost everyone we met on the ship was very friendly and did a good job. We had been assigned an 8:30 dinner time which is really late, but we made it work by seeing the "early shows" which were very good on the whole. The musical featuring hits from ABBA was exceptional and the comedian (not the magician) was hilarious. The ship was very clean and beautiful. The Casino is lovely (though smoke filled) and the Solarium is exotic and unique. (note: although the Solarium pool is listed as being open 24/7, it is NOT and it's roped off by 10:30 each night)

I'd really like to rate this cruise 5 stars because I wish it had been... But here are the reasons it wasn't...

Port Reviews

Tampa

Easy embarkation and check in - self assist less so but still efficient enough.

Key West

Absolutely breathtaking - a must see!

Key West

On time, very pleasant. Vinnie was by far our best trolley driver/guide.

Key West

Very interesting and pleasant - would go again!

Cozumel

Interesting and fun. Our tour guide David and driver Antonio were excellent. Unfortunately, the port experience itself (very rude vendors, etc) and the poor conditions (trash covered beach) would make me avoid a Mexican port in the future.
