On arrival at the port no information was given to us regarding where to leave our luggage, therefore we ended up taking it on board with us. At the check in desk our friends, who we will travelling with, were whisked away to the VIP lounge, again no information given as to why they were given VIP treatment and we were not, as in actual fact they booked their cruise after us and paid less for it!

Ultimate drinks package - good value as drinks on board are pricey but be aware that bottled water isn't included, and also hot drinks from the bar. Again no information given on arrival.

Dining - Service very slow service first night in Pacific restaurant, although it did improve later in week. Very cold in the restaurants due to air conditioning.

Local tour guide very informative, and was reasonable at 10 dollars for an hour tour.

New York (Manhattan)

Spent 4 days in New York. Did the hop on and off bus which i would recommend as easiest way of seeing most of New York. We stayed at ROW hotel as part of our package. Good location right near Times Square. Very busy hotel, adequate for us, room smallish but clean modern hotel. Hotel tax quite pricey.
