The food and the entertainment were the best! The Norwegian in house band was the best we have seen. Even the lunch BBQ around the pool was very good. On the negative, people were saving chairs and sun beds with towels, so there was no where to sit. If you did not play the game, you did not have a chair. In the dining rooms and the buffet the food was excellent. The ship is very clean. Be aware that if you win a spa treatment, you will pay a 18% service fee. I won the BIG $150 spa credit, choose a port day $132 service but still payed $18% on $150. Not much of a free gift. In Miami you can walk off the ship. There is a free people mover at freedom tower. We bought the $49 Miami 2hr. Tour. Because of a delay getting off the ship, the tour lasted just over an hour ending at the airport. Not good value. This was our 21st cruise.

We started in Los Angles and went from the airport to cruise ship port with Super Shuttle $17 per person. The room was an inside cabin 10051. We were able to board early, have lunch, and the rooms were ready at 1:00pm. There was a service room beside us, but there was just a small amount of bumping noise at about 9:30 pm. We never heard anyone in the room beside us.

We did not take the excursions as we had been to all of the ports before, except for two. You can walk to the beach in Puerto Corinto, Nicaragua. There is shopping only off the cruise ship in Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala.
