This was our 18th cruise and (1 Carnival, 1 Commodore, 3 Celebrity, 3 Royal Caribbean, 10 Norwegian) one of the best mainly due to our accommodations, room steward, butler and concierge. We booked an inside cabin last Sept., then moved to an outside window in Jan., and 1 week before departure received an upsell to a forward suite with a large balcony. Our last suite was an aft suite on the NCL Pearl and what a difference a great butler and room steward make.

We had the spa package and used it daily. Good value for us being able to enjoy the whirlpools, steam room, and sauna without kids.

Breakfast and lunch in Moderno and Cagneys was great service and good food. The filet for breakfast was wonderful. We ate at the buffet one night when they had oriental night, it was ok, not extraordinary. Other night at the buffet we had just average food. We ate at Versailles complimentary dining several times with good food. We tried rib night at O'Sheehans; ribs were ok, but nothing special. Wish we would have tried Ginza Asian restaurant before our last night. Ginza food was delicious. Overall evening meals in restaurants was above average while the buffet failed to impress.
