Embarkation is slow as you have a chicane like at all airports even small ones. But hey there are a lot of passengers to process. We got someone elses cases to start with but ours came eventually. We always go prepared in case they don't come for a day.

Britannia is a great modern ship with new technology for shows and booking tours. We don't go on tours just head for the beach. If you want the train trip on St.Kitts book before you go as it's always full. The shows are singing dancing type which frankly aren't my scene dare I say a bit Butlins. I miss the shows of ten years and more ago which were more professional. But always packed so get in there very early some of the seats at the far back are pointless. There was a 7.00pm show which we scraped in for after our meal and perhaps 7.15pm would be better if they want a full house although it wasn't far off full. But not big enough for 3,000 passengers.

We dined 'freedom' in the Peninsula and always got in there for 6.00pm and the waiters and food are wonderful. At that time you can pick a table. The buffet is OK too for breakfast and sea day lunches.

Cabin Review

Cabin HE

The outside cabin was about the same size and type as the Azzura but the balconies are a tad too small to spend four sea days on - a design fault I think. We don't all want to spend our holiday socialising and It was a little cramped to spend a day on. It had a good size flat screen TV with more than enough free films or pay for £2.99 and TV shows worth watching again. The shower was a decent size and has a lose shower head and a washing line. The safe is good and free. Enough hanging space for two weeks and draw space if you use your case under the bed for occasional things. It would be a bit cramped with more than two people.
