Sail Date: Feb 2016

My husband and I sailed, for a winter getaway. We stayed in Fort Lauderdale for two nights afterwards, at the River Side Hotel on Las Olas Blvd. A fantastic spot for great dining, fun and walkability! Embarkation was smooth, although we did have to wait for almost an hour, after being registered at approx. 11:00. As anxious as everyone is to board, this is certainly understandable. The ship's staff has so much to do in a very short turnaround. I will provide some thoughts on various categories.

Service-Can't imagine some of the reviews that mention bad/unfriendly service. We found the entire staff to be very friendly and eager to please.

Entertainment-Absolutely fantastic performers included the Calypso band ("Extra"), the Headliners ("Private Stock"), Holli Page (singer from CATs, that sang in the pub one evening), and "Come Fly With Me". We also greatly enjoyed the Frozen in Time skating show, the band that played at the 80's night in Dazzles (fun and very crowded!), and the Adagio string ensemble. The diving show was cancelled time and again. We saw it on Allure and it was amazing. Sadly, we did not see CATS, due to the very poor reviews and the length of the show. We also enjoyed the Comedy Show.
