So, let me tell you about our latest cruise which was on the NCL Breakaway.

I am going to jump around a little bit based on how I remember things and how I will confirm or at least address previous reviews.

First of all. The Breakaway is a beautiful ship. Yes it is big and there are a lot of people on the boat, but I never felt that to be a concern. I was no more crowded on this boat than I was on the NCL Spirit when I was on her.

Cabin Review

Family Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

Yes, the balconies are small. But they are big enough for 2 people to sit. What else do you plan on doing out there?

Lots of storage for 2 people. 3 or 4 would be a stretch. The layout of the closet to the couch is intriguing. In order to hang clothes in the closet you have to either stand on the couch or pull a muscle reaching over it. This was poorly thought out.

All in all. I WOULD NOT HESITATE to stay in this room again. I have figured out the closet.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

Good time. Each couple gets their own boat. Lots of fun

Tortola

Long ferry ride for a short stay. I would not recomend this

St. Maarten

Bus guide was very informative. Orient beach was nice but $10 chairs were too much. The airport stop was the hilight

Dominica

Gerard was a great tour guide. Stopped the bus many time to show us various plant life. Highly recommend him.

Antigua

Excellent Tour however our boat driver was a bit of a jerk. I did not tip him due to his attitude.
