Coral Princess Review

Amazing service, great new beds, best tour ever, and worst couch I've ever seen!

Overall, the cruise was fantastic. We've cruised at least 25+ times with various cruise lines and I can honestly say that the majority of the service on this ship was head and shoulders above the rest. In particular, the Internet Cafe Manager (Amith), our dining room waitress (Faye), and the head waiter (Mauricio).

We are very tech savvy and spend more time that we should on our computers during cruises and have consistently found that the Internet Cafe staff is generally incompetent, surly and either untrained or under-trained. BUT, Amith was amazing. He understood his job, understood how to effectively and politely deal with irate newbies that didn't understand their phones or iPads, etc. and was a true delight to those of us that did understand our technology and just needed quick responses to an issue. We have NEVER seen someone that competent in the internet cafe and I hope that Princess takes an example from him and starts hiring people that bring that kind of service to the Internet Cafe on other ships!

Our waitress, (traditional dining) Faye was happy, thoughtful, thorough and remembered all the little things that we like to have when we sit down to dinner. We haven't seen that level of service in Dining Staff in years. Honestly, I think the dining staff service on all ships has declined dramatically since gratuities have been added to our bills as compared to handing them out ourselves. Faye and Erwin (her Assistant Waiter) were a joy and set a standard for what traditional dining service should be like!
