This was the third time we have taken carnival inspiration on its 4 days baja cruise and enjoyed it thoroughly again with its ports of catalina and ensenada and full day at sea. This is a quick get away cruise with easy parking and boarding and we always plan our own excursions in port. this time we dined at wrigley's mt. Ada estate for lunch in catalina with magnificent views and hired a taxi to take us to four wineries in the valley de guadalupe while in ensenada with a lunch stop at punta morro for excellent sea food.

we found the service on board to be excellent and friendly and the food in the carnivale dining room to be very good. the back of the vessel buffet is "hit or miss" with some very good things and some things which just were appetizing to our group. we enjoyed the ability to get lemonade and green tea throughout the cruise and then walk down stairs to the "serenity deck" to enjoy the scenery.

for a 4 days get away this cruise has a little bit of everything you would expect on a longer cruise with spotlessly clean cabins, good dining, fun ports, and friendly service. we also enjoyed the meet and mingle party in the alchemy lounge and enjoyed running into cruise critic members all throughout the cruise. a very pleasant get away.

Catalina Island (California)

We took a taxi to drive us over to Hamilton Cove and then back to Mt. Ada (Wrigley's Estate) for lunch with magnificent views from the terrace. Taxi returned and took us back to ship. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon in Catalina
