Carnival is at the bottom of the barrel of cruise companies now. This is our fifth cruise (2 on Carnival, 2 on Royal Caribbean).
Food: omelettes were mushy, fish was very soggy; chicken was dry. Main Dining Room: Food was good, but not great.
Entertainment: Female Comedy club performer discussed men farting for 30 minutes. Spanish guitarist in lobby played a few nights.
Fine, clean & responsive. The mostly Filipino & Romanian crew were very good, courteous & hard-working, round the clock. The treatment received from American workers on U.S. soil is uncaring, frustrating beyond belief, and totally bureaucratic. Keep in mind we are THREE-TIME CUSTOMERS. I am still in tears over this.
We snorkeled for 45 minutes in gorgeous ultramarine blue water between the Pitons. We saw hundreds of beautiful, colored fish.
Van ride with ten people in a small space. We were let out twice to stretch in three hours. Saw a fort (very good) and lots of island residents lounging about on porches drinking.
We did not do an excursion in St. Thomas but used the time to find a restaurant with free Wifi.
