Had a great week onboard the majesty ,travelled as two 50 plus females. I am a seasoned cruiser and have sampled the likes of P and O Ventura and Oceana and also RCL Anthem of the seas and soon to be going on Independece of the Seas this July . I have also sailed on The Thompson Dream ,Celebration and this was my 2nd time on the Majesty ( October 15 with partner and granddaughter ) just saying so fellow reviews don't think I must be easily pleased .
You can't change or hide the fact the Majesty is a bit worn around the edges and looking her age but in my opinion she is as clean as a whistle ,meals were always a good choice ,served hot and by very attentive waiters in Seven Seas . The Entertainment is where Thomsons excels .The team are brilliant ,from the cruise directors Shep and Adam to the young entertainment team were outstanding and the shows they put on each night were amazing .
The staff on board I found were always polite ,friendly and helpful . Never waited long on being served drinks etc and most people I spoke to on board were very happy to be on this ship . If you have booked ,please don't be put off by negative comments ,you will have a ball .Personally I love the new big ships for all the bling they have ,but all that glitters is not gold and I would and will always return to Thomson for cruising
All the hanging space and drawers for two ladies with far too many outfits ,cabin kept immaculate by stewards Rob and Jaime
