Ok so the reviews have you worried....don't be but just have an opened mind and I would suggest only booking a short cruise on Aria - anything longer than 4 to 5 nights would be too long!

Worst things - can't flush toilet paper - they supply a toilet paper bin (no lid).....not joking! This was in a suite cabin. Buckets around ship catching water leaks. We saw our life boat plummet sideways into the water after the winch snapped while being winched back onto the ship. Pool for kids was not operational until 3rd day of 4 day cruise - they really should have allowed kids into the adults pool. Floor in Waterfront Restaurant was all peeling and bubbled from water damage. Many public bathrooms around ship were constantly closed due to blockages and spillages. Ship rocks quite badly due to its size. Bath tubs with showers are clearly dangerous and I think they will have a lot of serious accidents from these.

Mediocre things - food was great sometimes and not so great others. I enjoyed the salad bar most lunches and grabbed a bread roll with it. Certainly it is not a cruise you come away from boasting about the food quality. Disappointed that there was no nightly 'towel animals' or chocolates on pillows as per other cruises. The shows were very good but they just had nights where there was nothing! Plus the only 2 comedy shows were on at 10:30pm which was too late after a day sightseeing.

Cabin Review

Cabin Suite

Suite was large and huge amount of storage and wardrobe space. The dressing room was very handy featuring a second sink and make-up mirror/chair. The room was a little dated but reasonable. Balcony is huge but dirty. Do not pick this cabin as it is not situated under the spa as the map suggests.....it is actually under the small burger bar around the main pool.....from around 12pm to 4pm all you here is banging and crashing from above and you will not sleep at all. Plus smoking on level 6 is a few decks below you and smoking above is also this side of ship....you can smell it! What we did love is that with a suite it includes soft-drink package at any bar and room, free bottled water to your suite, free room service food (not drinks) at any hour, free slippers, express pass to any tender at any time, priority boarding/disembark whenever you like before 8:30am, priority dining at all restaurants. We felt that we more than used all of these services and it was worth the extra money. There is also free washing/ironing with the suites but we didn't feel the need to use it for such a small cruise. The suite provides a large area to chat and relax away from others if you want.

Port Reviews

Hamilton

Transfers from Ship to shore were excellent - P&O provided a fast cat that seated around 300-400 people...super fast and comfy/air conditioning.
