I am so confused by all of the negative reviews of this cruise. My husband and I could not have been happier! Everything ran so smoothly, from initial boarding to the tenders taking us to the Great Stirrup Cay. Our steward Archie was so sweet and courteous. Our favorite bartender, Jelica (sp) took great care of us, as did almost every bartender, waiter, etc. we encountered. We made at least 6 close friendships while there and all agreed to stay in touch.

Maltings on the Waterfront was ideal for sitting outside with a drink in the sun if you're looking for a slightly quieter area than the pool bars. But there were plenty of faster paced, club-atmosphere bars if that's more your speed. Fat Cats Blues Club had some excellent shows. Rock of Ages was such a fun time. We did not visit any of the specialty dining restaurants but were very happy with the complimentary dining. The food at the buffet was great, far better than we anticipated. The Manhattan Room was our favorite restaurant, such a cool vibe.

We did have the Ultimate Beverage Package, and while we found out afterwards that the beer we were having stocked in our cabana on Stirrup Cay was not included, we did get a $50 food/beverage credit with the cabana, so the charge ended up being negligible. It surprises me to see people being so angry about having to pay for some things, when those are optional. Everything included in the price is so wonderful, more than we could have hoped for.
