This was our 5th Disney cruise and 3rd on the Fantasy. The service was excellent as always. We didn't find the food quality to be as good as in previous sailings. Most items were bland. The breakfast buffet has many items, but most are not very good. We always laugh that the doughnuts are cold as they are frozen and never warmed up to room temperature before being placed on the buffet. The entertainment is hit or miss. We have seen the shows before and only went again because my 8 year old daughter wanted to. The family variety shows are good, but the adult shows are boring to us.
While we would have taken a Disney cruise anyway, the sole reason we booked this particular sailing was for the Star Wars Day at Sea (SWDAS). I'm sure many people enjoyed it, but we booked this based on what Disney advertised was occurring and most of that just didn't happen.
Deck party with fireworks - While the fireworks were awesome, the show beforehand was nothing more than a parade of characters, not an actual show. We were unable to attend the deck party as we chose to do the buffet instead. Most of the day there is very little to do, but the buffet, deck party and ultimate star wars trivia were all scheduled at the same time.
The room was wonderful. It is close to the mid ship elevators and we felt very little movement up here. I would book this room again.
I didn't find this to be a good value for the price.
Awesome! It was a two stop tour due to our limited time in port. Stingray City is amazing and we had so much fun. The second stop was for snorkeling and it too was great. Highly recommend!
Beautiful as always.
