This was the first cruise for my husband and I. It was a birthday present for him. We did not know what to expect. Boy were we in for a surprise! From the moment that we started at check in, we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff members. Maybe we had the first time look, but everyone was making sure that we were getting taken care of. They took our luggage and took it to our room, so we did not have to drag it on the ship by ourselves. By the time we got to our room, the bags were already there.

Then the fun began. Lots of food and music daily. Our steward Putu was on our floor everyday, making sure that we were taken care of. He was such a pleasant young man. The 2 DJays, Mista Geeh, and DJ Chef Sure, were pumping good vibes, during the daytime and at night at the Illusions Night Club.

The man in charge of overseeing the housekeeping staff, Orvin Seawell, is awesome and wonderful. Very pleasant guy, and his staff respects him and likes him. He walks the ship making sure that it is always clean.

Cabin Review

Interior

We had in interior cabin because I did not want to see the ocean : ).

It was not that small. It had a king size bed. On the first evening, I noticed that the shower head was old and peeling, and mentioned it to our steward Putu. He apologized and IMMEDIATELY took it off and replaced it with a new one. Our room was cleaned twice daily. Everyday we had cute little towel creatures waiting for us on the bed, and daily FunTimes activity schedule in our room.

Port Reviews

Catalina Island (California)

The island was very small, so it was very easy to walk along the water front and shop. Very reasonable prices for souvenirs.

Ensenada

Raquel our tour operator was very pleasant and knowledgeable about her city and the Blowhole geyser. Didn't quite appreciate the street vendors pushing their wares on me.

Ensenada

Ensenada was not as touristy as I would have liked.
