A nice ship to get out of Dodge for 2 cold weeks in WashDC. We were in a 9th flr concierge class cabin w/veranda,9285, about 8 cabins from the rear but comfortable and no discernible roll on 1-2 rough nites, with a classic beverage package, onboard credits, & -3 percs-on a 14-day southern carib cruise,7 islands almost consecutively, 5 total sea days. including an overnite stay in Curacao.

Tours: We took a 5 hour ship tour on St Lucia to Soufriere, $49pp,which was less ambitious than a private tour that included lunch but, overall, was more logisticlly practical,to a small but pleasant mineral spring, a 1 1/2 hr drive each way with about an hour at the spa, and nice views of the Pitons/mountains.

Otherwise, independently and far lesser expensive than the ship tours, we spent our time on nearby island beaches, taking local taxis for $20 or less RT and about $15 for chair and umbrella rental, some of which included a welcome drink.
