We sailed on the Carnival Sunshine in early February. We have been on numerous cruises, all Royal Caribbean. Every single one of them was beyond superb! This ship failed to meet expectations in so many different areas.

Boarding the ship was uneventful. On royal Caribbean you are greeted with tropical drinks and a steal drum band playing music that really adds to the sailing mood. There was never any band on this ship only a DJ.

It did not take us long to get into our room. When we opened the door the smell of mold was over whelming! The floors in the bathroom were filthy. There was black gooey dirt that had accumulated in the cracks and loads of dust and dirt in the corners of the floor. The shelves in the rooms had not been dusted so we had to clean them before putting our clothes away. The curtains had holes in them. The room definitely did not inspire a romantic mood! Read more
