This was our second NCL cruise after doing Jade a year ago. Overall this was a much better experience. The entertainment was great - Beatles, Burn the Floor, Priscilla Queen of the Desert (west end quality) especially but all of the shows and entertainers we saw were at least good and mostly excellent. Would recommend booking the shows before you board and keep a check on the new shows as they are advertised to make sure you get a seat - the main theatre especially is much too small for the number of passengers on board.

Food was OK - we mostly ate breakfast in the buffet and dinner in the main restaurants. Good choice in the buffet and most evening meals were good, occasionally a cold dish was served and we had one bad dinner - cold / poor quality. Did not do any of the specialist restaurants this time.

Ship is a little odd - the casino is huge and central to the ship. Our experience was that it was underused - a bit like running the gauntlet because with no central stairways you spend a lot of time walking from one end of the ship to the other through the casino.

Cabin Review

Inside

Cabin IF

Cabin design is a little odd with the open plan shower / wc but there is a curtain across and overall the cabin was OK. Quiet. This cabin is right at the front of the ship so it would not suit poor sailors in a rough sea.
