Check-in
We waited for almost an hour in our cars waiting to get into the terminal in Bayonne, NJ. Surely, there had to be a way to speed this up. In comparison to the Baltimore terminal, there seemed to be more luggage handlers in Baltimore to accept passenger luggage. Once in the terminal, the check-in took only 15 minutes. The all digital check-in process was cool. This was the highlight of the trip and it went downhill from there.
Stateroom
Our room was of a decent size.
Our stateroom on deck 8 forward was damaged by sea water during the previous week when Royal Caribbean decided that the Anthem of the Seas would fare like a helicarrier in the Avenger movies and sailed into a hurricane.
The carpet in our stateroom was damp and our room smelled. Surely, the Royal Caribbean crew should have the good sense of replacing the carpet BEFORE we got on board. We were offered to change to a different room. But who wants to pack up and switch rooms in the middle of your vacation?
Car lines going into the terminal were very long. There weren't enough baggage handlers.
