We actually did a back to back with this ship. Had an interior on 5 day followed by a balcony on the 4 day. Five day was Key West and Cozumel and Four day was just Cozumel.

First, if you are looking for off site parking in Tampa, call Parktologists (cute marketing). They were very close to port and had quick transportation on and off ship--in fact the fastest off we've ever experienced. They were waiting for us at 7:30 when we got through customs and we were heading out of Tampa at 7:45!

This was our first experience on RCCL Brilliance. I read reviews before we left and was a bit worried...it is an older ship so agree that mattresses were quite hard and pillows flat. I also understand what others have said about odors in the bathrooms--marine head systems are different but i agree that the odors were stronger in their system than on other ships we've cruised.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Nice all inclusive beach club. They don't do a good job of communicating what's included and hand you a menu with prices on it. When we asked they told us that it wa included...a little difficult for first timers but would not hesitate to go again. Loved that it wasn't Crowded like all the ship excursions always are!!!

Key West

Walked around.

Tampa

Big city. Had never been there before and had not factored in traffic.
