First of all let me say that we have been on many different cruise lines, from big to small and cheap to luxurious. This was such a surprise. Last year we were on the Oasis of the Seas and it was fabulous. I feel Norwegian squeezed as many rooms on this ship as possible and sacrificed open public space. I had the feeling of a very small ship and there were always tons of people everywhere, no room for a quiet moment.

My biggest complaint is about the charges- I have never seen anything like it. We felt forced to eat in specialty restaurants as the food was terrible in the complimentary dining rooms. Even room service had a charge. Beverage package didn't include water or coffee at a coffee shop. Even a show- the supper club charged.

Also the music was the same throughout the ship- loud- drums and bass. Even while we were eating dinner the music was too loud to hear. No soft dinner music at all. We were with a group and there was no place for us to meet. It just was my least favorite cruise experience I have ever had. The entertainment was good, but I do not think it is a pretty ship. Also I think the service is not as good with the freestyle dining as you do not get to know the people.
