Embarkation was very quick we carried on our bags because it was a little before 1:00 when we boarded. Ft, Lauderdale port was organized much better than last May. We went to the diamond line which may have helped hurry things up but all lines were moving quickly. As soon as we boarded we switched roommates around which was not a problem. Beautiful ship in great condition!

Room was an average inside room- nothing to get excited about but met all our needs. I do like the capsule showers better than the curtains and the super soft linens Royal has gone to are great.

It was cloudy the first day so there was not a lot going on at the pool bar so we ate lunch at the Windjammer and showed our newbie around. We mustered in (Mexican sounding name theater) which I prefer to on deck. Then we were off to our Meet and Mingle. It was fun meeting people I had met online. We had a large table on the top floor of the main ding room- oval shaped- I think I like the large rounds because it was difficult to talk to people at the far end. Great people at our table- enjoyed the conversations. Food was good but not great. Service was the same. Not sure how the "my time dining" works but there were empty tables around us. Maybe people using the specialty restaurants? Played some in the casino and had drinks in the Dungeon.
