First off, I'll start by saying a cruise is what you make of it.
Embarkation was fast and easy. We drove to the port and once in the building we were on the ship in 20 minutes. If you follow the guide Princess sends, everything goes smoothly.
The ship was very clean and in great shape. The only "nit" was some leftover trash and hair clips on the floor of our cabin.
Cabin was smaller than on other lines, but very workable. Upper decks look down on lower balconies if that bothers you. We were on deck 14 so we looked down on the others.
We were one deck below Lido for pool and buffet, etc. No noise from above and very quick to go grab a bite or sit by the pool.
Just used L.A. to get on and off the ship.
We have friends in town so we did our own thing. We've been to P.V. many times before so don't do anything special. Just enjoyed the weather and did a little shopping.
Booked this online from the U.S. it was $38 per person vs $75 per person from Princess. They pick you up at the cruise terminal and take you to their dock for a quick boat ride across the harbor and then a tractor pulled "taxi" ride to the horses. We rode on the beach for about an hour and a half. The tour included a drink (alcohol or non) after the ride. The guide works on tips alone so we took care of him. Overall it was well done,
Beautiful city! We got off the tender and walked to Medano beach (about a 30 minute walk). There are water taxis, but we wanted to see the town. We only had a half day in Cabo and we wish we had a full day as this was the cleanest most beautiful city of the 3 we visited.
