Comedy cruise with 5 mates , share accommodation, cheap price! Idea was good..
I have been cruising with other companies for last 12 years and took my mates on the NEWLY refurbished Pacific Eden on a three day comedy cruise. The 5 friends I invited ( first timers)also scored this ship very average as the ship was old. After walking around we realised that the ship was built in 1992 as per plaque on the side. It is a shame that the ship still has its OLD parts as you walk around. The bar staff on top deck were hip and cool and the best on the ship. The staff we encountered ( except room attendant) were not very accommodating or was it lack of experience?
Food from the new pantry was not hot and most of the time well below desirable temps. we were always asking if they could put more food on the plate than what they were instructed to do. The dessert bar was very basic with jelly, flat slab cake dishes and not much creativity and very boring.
