The dream in dock at Castaway Cay
Pirate night was a big night for families with small kids.

This was our first cruise ever. We used our DVC points and figured we would try a 3 day just in case we didn't like it. I don't even have the words to describe what an amazing time we had. The ship was immaculate, our outside state room was more roomy than I had imagined and very comfortable. There were so many activities of all different kinds it was difficult to choose. I love they way they had you covered from soup to nuts, they guided you through everything and made all the transitions very easy. Embarking and disembarking were very smooth.

My son is 15 so we are pretty much done with characters and all that kiddy stuff. Luckily this ship didn't shove "Disney" down your face. They had areas for the younger kids to do all that fun stuff and other areas for adults only. My son decided to check out the Vibe club which was for 14 to 17 yo and we practically never saw him he loved it so much! This left us free to check out the night clubs and adult events they had which we definitely enjoyed. He even begged us to do the vibe excursion on their private island and the price was so reasonable we let him to it and he can't stop talking about all the fun he had.

Our room was cleaned twice a day. Our state room hostess(not sure what they are called) Vickie was wonderful. Always looking out for our son and making sure we were comfortable. We really got to know everyone. I loved that our servers at dinner stayed with us the whole trip. We got the chance to eat at each different main dining spots and they knew exactly who we were and had our drinks ready for us each night.

Not sure what our category was. it was a deluxe state room with a porthole window. We were in 7008. I thought the rooms were beautiful and very well planned out. Lots of space for your stuff and very comfortable.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Embarking was very easy and painless. We did arrive early and had to wait to about 10:30 when they started check in and boarding started around noon I believe. Everyone boarded and immediately had lunch
