This was my 5th cruise, 3rd one with Royal Caribbean. We chose this ship based on the dates and ports that would be visited. This ship lacked many of the amenities of the other ships I was on. Something as simple as shampoo was not provided (although our cabin steward graciously brought both shampoo and conditioner - he was a bright spot!)

The first night of "My Time Dining" seemed very disorganized (Rolston, our waiter was FABULOUS once we were seated!!), even though we had made dinner reservations. The first day at a port was very disorganized as well. We were told to go to one deck, and then once we got there were told to go up several decks and come back down due to crowding?? The RC attendant who was there was very rude to the guests. The day we had to be tendered to port, the tendering process was horrible. We waited for 35+ minutes before the boat left for port. They were waiting for the boat to be "full!!" Thankfully, our tour guide, who we booked privately and LOVED (Fantasea Belize!) was amazing and waited for us. After that, things did seem to improve somewhat. However, if this had been my first cruise, I may not consider another cruise. Perhaps I will try a different cruise line in the future. The average age of passengers was probably 70's.

Tampa

Did not take an excursion in Tampa. However, our accommodations at Homewood Suites were great, as well as transfer to the pier by "Ground Jet" was very smooth.
