My wife and I have just returned from this cruise and feel let down by the operator.

We all know that the Thomson fleet is old and in some cases requires upgrading, however the high standards we have experienced on other Thomson ships, Spirit, Celebration was sadly lacking on the Majesty. By that I mean the attitude of some of the crew, the fact that one of the restaurants, the Café Royal, was closed and no explanation was given by the staff. They appeared to be deep cleaning and refurbishing it.

The closure of this had a knock on effect throughout the rest of the dining areas. We found ourselves queueing everywhere and at times it was difficult to find a seat. Afternoon tea was served on deck and it was difficult to find a seat. The weather was very poor with some high winds throughout the cruise. Finding a sheltered spot was difficult, having to share with the smokers.

Cabin Review

Cabin inside deck 6

Clean and tidy. Bigger than expected but not enough wardrobe space.
