My 11th cruise 5 th NCL. We took my Father in law who had never cruised. He loved everything it had to offer. Even won a dance contest. Only complaint would be size of room, not enough space to be organized for 3 adults. Showed up at scheduled embarkation time, brutal que but went smooth.
Super Bowl was a blast with an overwhelming Denver fan majority whooping it up. Go Broncos. The passengers were mostly younger Consistent with what I have experienced sailing out of LA. Lots of fun people wanting to have good time. It was a vey fun cruise.
Weather cooperated save the last sea day a bit windy. Food was great! Lots of variety, and everything tasted good. Only problem is menu descriptions are often inaccurate, it's a language problem. Crew on this smaller ship was very nice and friendly. I find they try harder on the smaller ships to be friendly. We had lots of nice chats with crew, all were very nice.
Cabin was way too small for 3 people. It would have worked with a little more storage space. Balcony was on the small side as well. We made do but when you have had larger rooms for less it is frustrating. Our location was excellent ! Bed was great after steward added a pad. Loved the balcony window.
Hired water taxi for arc tour . Make sure you negotiate we paid a fraction of what our fellow passengers paid. They dropped us at McDonough beach and picked us up a few hours later. Ship got in at noon which was fine, left at 6. I thought that was too short prior to the cruise but it was fine.
Thank God for th volunteers! We described what we wanted and the directed us to Las Flores Golden Zone . We got to use resort facilities including pool and just bought refreshments. It,was excellent. We hired cabs both ways.
Great excursion best ever. Snorkel, kayak, Yelapa. We just hung out at the beach on Yelapa. The chairs were free. Crew on excursion was phenomenal #8 Vallarta.
Great port
