The cruise began with delays in boarding due to a norovirus being onboard for the previous cruise and the entire ship needed disinfecting. Weather was cold and windy which meant lots of rocking and rolling. We didn't see our cabin staff for three days as he was in quarantine for being sick. The toilet overflowed four times which meant we had plumbers in our cabin at 3 a.m. ... YES ... 3 a.m. twice during the cruise resulting in soaking wet carpet outside of the bathroom.
The food in the dining rooms was average with little change in the menus. Very rushed in dining rooms with no time allowed for glass of wine, etc. Always a wait of 45 minutes to an hour to get into the dining rooms at prime times unless you made a dining reservation PRIOR to sailing.
The shows were mediocre, the best were the comedy shows. Guest services provided no compensation or compassion to the toilet situation. I might add it was my 87 year old mother that was inconvenienced with a broken toilet and had to use our toilet during her cruise in our adjoining stateroom.
Do not accept this cabin as it has plumbing issues. The line is clogged and had to be taken apart in the hallway four times. Cabin and balcony are normal sized. Television very limited channels.
Tour orphanage and school. Took supplies to the orphanage/schools.
Went to beach.
Booked Cozumel Fun Tours. Good tour.
Pretty little island. Rented golf cart.
