I was a little apprehensive about this cruise after reading some reviews but I was very happy to discover that this is a very nice cruise. My friend & I were asked to change cabins for a couple who needed more room, we had a handicap room. We were well compensated for the inconvenience. Several department heads attended the meet & greet. They gave a nice warm welcome to our small group. On the final day we were invited to meet with them again & give our opinion of the ship & services including suggestions for improvement. The hotel director told us that there will be some major renovations when the ship goes into dry dock. Some repairs were being done while we were sailing but that didn't seem to create any problems.

I really appreciated having a coffee maker in the cabin so I didn't have to dress & run up to the buffet first thing. All staff were very friendly & courteous. I asked questions about the specialty restaurants and received a good description of the kind of food served. The buffet serves an american type breakfast. I missed most lunches since I was on shore. I learned later that cold soup was served at the afternoon snack, glad to hear this is being served again. Cagney's dinner was terrific, the Moderno was fun & nice way to sample several kinds of meat, the Bistro dinner was wonderful & La Cucina was delicious. The staff in each restaurant were very professional.

The Oh What a Night Tribute was fantastic, so much energy, the audience was clapping, singing & whistling up a storm. I enjoyed the other musical performances too.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

The handicap balcony cabin was great. The basic balcony cabin was small by comparison but satisfactory. It was clean & in good repair.
