This was our 7th carnival cruise, and we decided to get faster to the fun so we got on the boat very quickly, we missed the huge line up to check in. We had a balcony cabin on the lido deck 9275, which I should of never booked so close to the elevators and the atrium because it was so loud all the time. The music from floors down came right up and we could hear it perfectly from our room ( and it was not the best singing either)! Forget about a nap because people gathered right outside the room at all hours, I have stayed on the lido deck a few times and never had this problem, but it was because of where my cabin was unfortunately.

Our cabin was pretty clean really, except for some dust here and there, never got any ice for my wine, and I used a diet coke from the mini bar which was never replaced, I didn't say anything because I was pretty close to the bar to get ice or pop. At one point the room stewart came right into my room without giving me a second to say come in, after his quick knock, I was halfway into my bathing suit when he opened the door with a man to fix the slow sink in the bathroom, I didn't even notice it was slow, but here they were! The last few cruises the stewart called us by name but not on this one, no big deal.

The lineups on this ship were the worst I have ever seen, the buffet lineups were awful, especially for breakfast, they really need to make smaller islands of food, like the first half of the buffet was milk, cereal, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal.. I didn't want any of these but here I was in the long food jungle line till I got to where the eggs and bacon were. The pizza (although delish)! took at least 10-15 minutes per person because they were made to order, but it took soooo long that I only had it once. We had my time dining and although I expected on formal night I would probably have to wait in line (which I did, and received a pager when our table was ready, about 45 minutes), but every night? I never had to wait like that at every dinner, not just that it was a huge line up for breakfast in the dining room as well, and there were plenty of tables!! Getting to the dinning room also meant having to go to the 5th level then going down to the 3rd or 4th level because you couldn't get to it any other way, which was confusing at first.
